The coffee industry in Vietnam is transforming — not just in the cup, but behind the counter. As specialty coffee rises in popularity, so too does the need for baristas who are not only passionate but professionally trained.

BOS Academy was born to answer that call. With years of experience mentoring baristas, judges, and café owners, the team behind BOS sought to create more than a traditional training program. They envisioned a modern, scalable learning ecosystem—one that blends hands-on practice with structured digital learning.

However, their existing website and training system were outdated. Course registration was manual. Learning content was scattered. Progress tracking was nonexistent. They needed a digital platform that matched the quality of their teaching.

Our Mission

BeeKrowd was brought in to build a platform that could do three things:

1. Reflect the professionalism and creative spirit of BOS Academy
2. Host a structured, scalable, and learner-friendly LMS (Learning Management System)
3. Make barista education accessible—from Đà Lạt to Đà Nẵng, from Saigon to the world

What We Built

A Refreshed brand website

We redesigned the BOS Academy website from the ground up with:

• A clean, confident interface that blends the aesthetics of education and craft
• Smart course navigation by skill level: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
• Landing pages for each program with engaging video banners, curriculum previews, and trainer bios
• Clear calls to action for booking, contact, and enrollment

The website isn’t just a brochure. It’s a modern academy’s digital campus.

An integrated LMS built for growth

We implemented Moodle LMS, customized for BOS Academy’s specific teaching model:

• Modular course structure with lessons, quizzes, and assignments
• Video lectures hosted directly within the platform
• Attendance, grading, and certification tracking
• Role-based dashboards for instructors, students, and admins

To ensure adoption, we also trained the BOS team to manage content, enroll learners, and monitor class progress — creating digital independence for their training team.

Designed for learners in the real world

Baristas are not sitting in lecture halls. They’re pulling shots, steaming milk, and tasting coffee all day. That’s why we made BOS Academy’s platform:

• Mobile-responsive, so students can learn between shifts
• Bilingual (Vietnamese/English), to serve both local and international learners
• Progressive: Allowing self-paced learning while still offering instructor support

Whether they’re training for a local café job or preparing for a national barista competition, students now have a flexible, reliable learning path — right in their pocket

Results and Impact

Since launch:

• Over 500 learners enrolled in just 3 months
• 85% course completion rate across core modules
• Dozens of students certified for work in high-end cafés across Vietnam
• BOS Academy now offers hybrid training programs nationwide
• The platform is being prepared for franchise-level scalability
